With all of the excitement and support that marriage equality is getting right now, there is also a lot of misunderstanding. Many of my friends are finding it a challenge to explain to their friends/family on social networking what it is that gay and lesbian people are asking for with marriage equality.

I made this short motion graphics video to help explain what’s going on in simple terms.

Side note: I didn’t want the lesbians to feel left out, but I figured cute bow ties are something gay men and lesbians can both enjoy.

Caroline and I met while volunteering a few months back, and when she told me about what she did, I got REALLY excited. The only thing I love more than female entrepreneurs, are ones who’s sole purpose is to help other women. Ugh, So much love in this world.

We partnered together to create this motion graphics intro video explaining how Caroline can help YOU!

It’s only been about four months since we launched our first website, and I’ve already redesigned it!

So this little project online happened where they asked motion graphics artists to donate their time to animate small segments of a larger spoken word poem. I signed up, and was given “Piece 11.”

I immediately contacted my pal James Jeffers (incredibly talented illustration artist) to sign on to work on this project with me. I’ve wanted to work with him for the longest time, and I felt like this opportunity would be a great collaboration for us. James did the illustrations, and I did the animation. We rocked it out.

Unfortunately, the rat-bastards who put the video together didn’t include our piece… Clearly they have poor taste.

Now I had to feel like a putz when telling James our first collaboration wasn’t even being included.

So I said fuck it, I’m going to still put it out there and let people see it. They should know how awesome James is and hire him and pay him lots of money! 

Ali + Natalie are about to take you on tour with them. Not a music artist world tour, and they won’t break a hip and have to cancel like Gaga, because they are on a tour of Self-Love!

We partnered with Ali + Natalie to create fun, loving, and playful video elements for their new online web adventure. They are discovering different people, places and things that can boost the ways that you are loving on yourself. Self-love and self-care are two things that I think are EXTREMELY important in your life that you should take VERY seriously.

And as my queen Ru Paul says, “If you can’t love yourself, how in the HELL are you gonna love somebody else… Can I get an AMEN?!”

Marie puts out weekly videos and wanted a little refresh to her intro. We kept it simple and fun, which is essentially who she is as a person. Simple, as in simple ideas… not like simple minded or anything. Damn, I’m gonna get tore to bits for this post aren’t I?
